Articles about Entertaiment
In this time of economic crisis, people are seeking more entertainment for less money. Many independent recording artists, producers and filmmakers are now able to market their work through the Internet at a fraction of the cost of major studios. This has led to a great turn around in the world of film, music and literature.
The word Entertainment comes from the Latin intertenere, meaning to hold inside, and from the Indo-European root ten, which means to stretch, or extend. It refers to a wide range of activities, such as watching movies, television shows or plays, playing video games, listening to music or attending concerts, participating in sports, and enjoying visual arts.
